Our online private sessions are a fantastic alternative to face to face classes and we have many students who choose them either instead of or as well as our in-person sessions.
Our online classes are usually conducted via Zoom and they allow us to:
Design and share personalised activities, presentations and worksheets.
Use interactive programs that allow both tutor and student to contribute, edit and analyse the current work.
Record the session (if you wish) so that your child is able to watch the class back again as many times as they need to.
Offer the classes at a cheaper rate than our ‘in-person’ classes (as there’s no travel fee).
Save everything so that it is easily accessible for our students come revision time.
Why Online?
There are several reasons why people choose our online sessions in addition to, or instead of our ‘in-person’ classes.
Location
If you’re unable to travel to our group classes or tutors’ locations, we can set up a weekly class online, meaning your son or daughter can connect with our excellent teaching staff, no matter where you live in the world.
Holiday
If you’re going away on holiday, there’s no need for your child’s tuition classes to end. We can schedule in either a one-off class or a series of sessions with their regular tutor, ensuring that your child’s studies remain uninterrupted.
Extra Sessions
If your child is preparing for a big exam, online sessions allow you more flexibility when booking extra classes. Online sessions can be particularly useful when students have ‘study leave’ in preparation for big exams.
Fees
£35 per hour.
We accept payment for online sessions via bank transfer.
Terms & Conditions
Classes are booked in advance.
You can reserve a time-slot for the term, or book a single, one-off class.
Cancellations
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to make a class. If I am informed with more than 48 hours notice, I will try to schedule a replacement class. If I am informed with less than 48 hours notice, the class will be considered cancelled. In both situations, the class fee is payable in full.
Exceptions are made in the case of illness, where 24 hours notice is not always possible. Please let me know as soon as possible if your child is unwell and unable to make a class. I am very understanding in these circumstances, provided they do not occur too frequently.
