Kate

Kate established Education, By Kate in 2015 and since then has designed and delivered an individual curriculum for each pupil. Kate has a First Class Honours Degree from the University of London and has taught privately since 2009. She has tutored children for independent school examinations since the company’s beginning and her students have passed the entrance exams for the following schools (amongst others): City of London Girls’ School, Dulwich College, Eltham College, Bancroft’s School, Alleyn’s School, Forest School (including a scholarship place), St Paul’s School, Westminster Choir School, St Michael’s Grammar School, & Blackheath High School (including a bursary and scholarship place).

Marylyn

Marylyn has a First Class Honours Degree and a Master’s Degree from the University of London. Aside from her work as a tutor, Marylyn is currently an academic proofreader and regularly assist university students with writing their Masters’ and Doctorate dissertations. Marylyn, who spent many years working at Queen Mary, University of London in an educational role, has previously worked as a private tutor and has a qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).

Throughout the week, Marylyn delivers private sessions online. On Thursday afternoons, she both delivers private classes in Wapping and works in the group class.
